Center of our Lives
Our goal is Love—Love that is formed by the Cross of Christ and inspired by his Resurrection. We aim to know Love, to abide in Love, to do whatever Love is determined to do through us.
And so, we devote ourselves to four central practices (cf. Acts 2:42):
- The teaching of Holy Scripture
- Face-to-face fellowship with each other,
- The frequent celebration of Holy Communion,
- And to a daily rhythm of personal prayer.
Such things keep us alive to the Love of God, springing forth from our hearts in acts of compassion, invitations to salvation, and efforts to relieve injustice—all with an eye toward the Day when there will no longer be a needy person among or around us.
