SDG presents “A Ceremony of Carols”, one of Benjamin Britten’s best-known and most-performed works. Brilliantly conceived, it is a sparkling choral gem and each movement of the work shines with variety. The choir will be accompanied on harp by Fresno’s Laura Porter. The ensemble will also present a delightful set of Méditations de la Vierge Marie. Sung in French, they are delicate, lovely pieces accompanied by string quartet.
