Hunger

Begins September 13th

Nearly 36% of the population in Fresno County lives without access to healthy food for themselves and their families. This challenge has increased since COVID, and the need has grown exponentially.

Kym Dildine, the Executive Director of the Central California Food Bank (CCFB) shares with us the challenges of addressing hunger in the Valley, how the Central California Food Bank is responding to the changing needs during this season, with concrete steps we all can take to help meet this growing need.

Visit the Central California Food Bank online to learn more about their mission to fight hunger by gathering and distributing food, engaging in partnerships to advance self-sufficiency, and providing community leadership on issues related to hunger. Go to https://ccfoodbank.org/ for information.
